A very special episode of Lisa TV, series finale part 1 Truth is I'd already planned on posting this, it's probably my fave Pearl Jam song. All these covers I've played have been things I already knew, I came into this knowing many songs. Maybe I didn't play the best, but I played with heart and the fact that I know so many covers and can sing them, I personally think that's pretty good. Plus the originals. I stopped doing originals for clear reasons.Anyway.

Oh my God! I have never heard the lyrics, not fully, not ever before!

I never knew all five horizons revolved around her soul, for one! Wow.

You shed a lot of light. No pun at all.

Thanks. It's one of my favorites, too, but then...I've only just heard the lyrics for the first time. I'm laughing. I mean, I always got that it was one of those songs... but now I know why! Thank you!

Hi Gina, I hear what you're saying,
bigtime. These words are absolutely amazing:

Black
Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay
Were laid spread out before me as her body once did
All five horizons revolved around her soul
As the earth to the sun
Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn
Ooh, and all I taught her was everything
Ooh, I know she gave me all that she wore
And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds
Of what was everything?
Oh, the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...

I take a walk outside
I’m surrounded by some kids at play
I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear?
Oh, and twisted thoughts that spin round my head
I’m spinning, oh, I’m spinning
How quick the sun can, drop away
And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass
Of what was everything
All the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...
All the love gone bad turned my world to black
Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I’ll ever be

I know someday you’ll have a beautiful life, I know you’ll be a star
In somebody else’s sky, but why
Why, why can’t it be, why can’t it be in mine?

Very cool stuff. Love the ghost appearances in your vids. Your chord changes are becoming more fluid.

Thanks Gary, thanks so much- And I know you are right, for sure! Part 2 is funny because I illustrate your point SO perfectly with a sustained vocal note, I hit the wrong chord, and then run through 3 or 4 chords while still holding the note. lol
Again thanks Gary, you've always been a great supporter of my musical efforts.:) xoxoxo

Hi Lisa,
That was fabs. Thanks for all the sweet words on my blog. You didn't need to say all those sweet things, but I do appreciate them. I've always suffered from a bit of stage fright, which I think is why I moved from writing songs to trying my hand at fiction, and I have always admired those who can stand up in front of others (virtually or live) and do their thing. You do your thing very well, hon.

Cheers,
AM

Thanks Anne Marie, and you know, this cam thing was really to get over my stage fright too, I totally understand about that. Heheh...it's remarkable that I kept at it considering that fact. :)
