Great show isn't it? I was watching the rerun (they did mention my blog but I'm not vain! oh no!), was falling off my chair laughed so much, and of course fantastic music :)
For E.L. Wisty: the scripts are harder to come by but the monologues are available as mp3 online: http://www.stabbers.org > click on "discography" on the left and then scroll down until you get to "Peter Cook presents the misty mr. wisty".
Hey, cool! Thanks! I will check him out... It's weird, you and I have certain things in common, like ancient history, etc. Admittedly I like all ancient history, but that includes Greece. And I now totally get your moniker, it would be like me using the name Jennifer Saunders! I LOVE British comedy, it's a love my brother and I got from our parents when were kids, and has stayed with us. I wish I had the BBC channel.Sigh :(
