Creative Use Of Profile Pics...

I like changing the profile pic often, as you all know. But it's because I like using it as a sort of temperature gauge, or mood ring. An indicator of the current moods. That last one was literally taken saturday night, all's fun, etc. This one is more somber taken Monday, with an odd bluish-green cast that matched what I was feeling when I took the picture.
I wonder if that was my mood captured on film. Because the camera wasn't deliberately set that way, and the rest of the pics didn't come out like that. Not that one can do such a thing without trickery. I swear I didn't. Maybe the software is *ucking up.
Anyhoo.

This one's really good, really expressive of the mood, not only your own expression etc but the colour (I do think it captured your mood). It's very artistic actually. Which makes me think, you don't really need complicated tools to create art.

Hey thanks! I know that it surprised me, the almost underwater effect it has. My logitech cam is screwing up, maybe, but if so it's doing it in a really neat way. :)

I like it! It's very different from other profile pics.
As much as I love photoshop, sometimes all you need is just a camera and the right settings to create special effects.

Dear Lisa, You've got me thinking. I have had the same photo on blogspot for my profile for over a year, and it was old when I put it there!

Your current profile photo is seriously beautiful. You have a gorgeous face and your facial structure makes you look like Joni Mitchell, I think. I know you're sad, and hurt, and struggling. Your strength shows in the photo, dear.

Love,
Brina

P.S. I once had a Russian-born piano teacher who told me, after he'd known me for only a month, "You are not as fragile as you let people think!" and he made this connection between my playing and my life come clear. He was perceptive, as I was in a fragile time emotionally then. He freed me to be stronger both at the keyboard and away from it, with that one comment.

Aw, thank you so much Brina, that's so nice of you to say, makes me feel great. :)
And you should change your profile pic, it's time!
And your music teacher sounded wise, and I thought it was quite interesting. There is a connection, for sure. And one can "hear" a lot about a person thru their music. :)
Love, Lisa
