"It's my Birthday and I'll post if I want to, post if I want to, post if I want to"
Figuring since it's MY day that I'd post this crap, even though it's the usual. It's the most recent progress on the latest solo. It's morphing. It's only a minute. I'm kind of cranky in this one but then I wound up being pleased enough with the progress of it. It's at least showing noticeable improvement. Actually, from last year to this one has been a lot of guitar improvement just in general. This has been an interesting experiment. Thanks for listening.:)
*Note* I didn't mean to sound obnoxious (if I did come off that way)in the beginning of this post. I was just joking around.:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!

I haven't watched the video yet, but I will. Anyways, I've got great news.
Guess who's also going to the Who concert in San Diego, ME!

I got a ticket too! I'm in LL21, row 3, seat 1.

I'm hurting tonight, you guys.
But you don't know how you helped me.:)
I wish I could talk about stuff. It goes back to respecting other's privacy. But damn, if I could only tell you.
I guess it doesn't matter. The point is that I appreciate you guys so much.
Seriously.

Thanks,
You know we're always here for you.

I finally watched the video and your guitar playing is coming along very nicely.
My guitar playing has improved, but I still need to practice more often.

Take care.

Practice really does help, look at how that was one days' difference in guitar solo exploration.:)
I've learned some things these past months. Money isn't everything, for one. Though I already knew that.
Oops. Cake and ice cream awaits :).

Happy birthday, Lisa!! I hope you had a wonderful day!

The video sounds great!

By the way, your hair looks so nice and shiny - have you been using your Ojon?? I just bought some, and have tried it once - the conditioner is a weird color, but it seems to work nicely!

Thanks Mary -Beth, that's so sweet. :)
It is the Ojon. I'm happy you got it, too! Weird stuff, eh? A little goes a looong way, especially if you try to use it as a leave-in conditioner. It was actually too much that way.

Happy Birthday and I really admire your spirit with the guitar. Keep it up.

I tried the Ojon hair treatment yesterday, and it's awesome (though I think it stinks...but it sure makes my hair soft and shiny). My hair is so long that it takes tons of the product to cover it all...so, I guess this wouldn't be an 'all the time' thing that I do (you know...for the price). Anyway, I couldn't believe that goop worked so well. *L*

Yah!! Rip at that instrument! Teach it to obey! You are getting better! And Happy birthday too, you don't look a day older than you did yesterday! :)

Heheh, thanks Ticharu, you're so sweet! I do think I am getting better, seriously. A large part was merely gaining confidence. But obviously the other major part is improvement in playing.Hmm...if I practice like I have been, how will I be in another year? Awesome! I can hope anyway. :) xoxoLisa

Hi Lisa,
I was playing around on my writing blog, trying to decide if I will post my second novel, and saw that you were reading away.

Thanks for the positive words and belated birthday wishes to you! I hope you had a fab day.

I meant to post here.

Thank you Lisa, this one is actually not about anyone in particular. It's about a frame of mind really, wanting to be the one who's able to commit, to stand up, to be there for someone in a bad situation.

Lately I've been drawing on subjects not immediately close to me. Intervention is not about anyone in particular, although, my Mum is a recovering alcoholic. The tv show called Intervention that runs on A&E is actually inspiration for most of that song so far, although, it has reached a point where I am not sure where to go with it.

Writing songs about feelings and such can be a bit tricky. Stephani usually wants to know what the songs is about etc. I'm trying to let the words flow without censoring myself because that's where the real poetry comes I think.

You are the Queen Bee Rock Chick of the blogs. Hang in there Lisa. You deserve happiness, everyone does. It can be so painful, I know.

Thanks so much Gary. :)
And I understand how you could be inspired by that show Intervention, wow! That is one of the most disturbing, compelling, tragic, yet inspiring, irritating, infuriating, sad, and even heartwarming shows on TV. I had to stop watching it recently. Started to remind me of someone too much. Not me, thank God.
At least that. Thanks for being here Gary. :) xoxoLisa, aka TQBRCOTB.lol
That's so cute. :D

Hey thanks for the nice comment. The guitar in the picture is a custom modeled after several Ricks. It has a shorter scale and smaller neck radius. It was built for me back in my Austin Texas days. I could of bought 4 Ricks for what I paid to have it built. I have way too many guitars. I don't know if I would be able to stay in a relationship for a guitar. You are the only one who knows what to do. I know you will land on your feet no matter what happens.
