Hey, this sure rocks! It isn't really that different from their other stuff in that it's roots-and-basics. But that's always been the point with them. :-)

Lisa...don't feel bad, I used to think I WAS PETE'S # 1 fan....but, I wouldn't, couldn't mortgage my house, like Debbie did. I don't and won't ever profess to know all the details.....I know his music has meant the world to me. And, I harbored a crush on him for most of my youth....I am happy that I still adore him (what I know, or think I know) and am all the more endeared to him, for having gotten to know Rachel (not really KNOW, but what it is I think I know) and his persona on ITA. Whatever, I just want to enjoy the ride. I love reading the memoirs, but I admit, I get a headache trying to keep up with the comments....so, now I won't, and I don't....but, when I see you and a few others, I do read, and these comments always make me smile....I do hope Pete feels the same!

I really like the White Stripes and they have their own sound which is very different but it's always easy to know it's them. Great song too. Hope all's well with you Lisa as far as it's possible to be.
By the way, I love Pete's writing too, but I can't deal with his blog. It's just too much - not the writing, but all the comments. I love his diaries too.
