I got a CGI error message trying to listen...
Read about Rick, sounds like a great guy, nothing in my own life to campare it to. I don't know anyone working for the system.
It's important to remember that the people on the other side are humans too.
I like to think that everyone fills their roles as needed. Plays their part at the time for some purpose. Whether you're robbing a bank or saving a baby.

Hey Ticharu,
I don't know what happened! I checked it just now, it played fine! Hmm...

Yeah, as far as Rick, it's just interesting how people can start out one way, and then morph into something completely different. I was really glad that he chose the EmT/medic work.

Yeah, it was just the evil computer fairies... it downloaded this time. I don't use that fingering often enough, that's what I think... I think I need to spend more time watching you play the guitar!

Hey Lisa, sounds good! I just got back from Kansas City. I love the feeling of coming home after a trip. There isnt really any place like home, even if I dont like the people living with me sometimes. I love my room though, and my bed. lol

Just popping by. I don't have time to read all your posts except the Thank You one...but will on Thursday after my inlaws party this afternoon into evening! We play bingo on these cool 40-50 year old boards (shall ask the age)...pretty groovy! Shall post pics of them. We play for great gifts to gag dollar store gifts so it is pretty fun! Too bag you don't live in town or I would invite you to join us. Honestly it is just another night of me getting frusterated with my sister in laws who NEVER watch after their kids to beat on all the other kids and destroy everything....I am not too fond of my sister in laws...can you tell? LOL

Well hope that made you a little happier that at least YOU don't have to deal with it! They bug my husband too heheh He would rather stay at home and knit!

Will read and post either late tonight or tomorrow. Gald you are in better spirits. I prayed for you the other day for some peace!

X-M.

Hi Lisa,

the teacher in me noticed the same thing Molly did- your fingers are moving with greater ease and fluidity. Good for you for keeping it up- I never did have the patience and self-discipline. I still type with four fingers.

Cheers,
AM

Hey thanks you guys!
I wasn't around so much yesterday, to
reply.
Anne-Marie and Molly:
I hope you're right! I think my fingers are moving better, I have been practicing a lot! It's frustrating,
but the payoff is hearing stuff like this from you guys!
xoxoLisa
p.s. Your posts were cute, Molly, they made me lol because I could picture it at your sis in laws.
It would be hell to watch those brats and not want to yell or reprimand themlolol

These work in progress (or just training) videos are really fun to watch, even if one can't play guitar one bit (well, I think I could play something very simple, something with two chords :)).

Curious: do you have any preference between acoustic and electric guitar, I mean do you prefer one over the other?

You know EL, I thought I preferred
acoustic, but this electric Peavey is just too f*ing fun to play! So now my
opinion is wavering :D

E.L.

I've been fairly distracted recently, sorry for the long wait between responses.

You ARE improving quite rapidly, that's good. I'm still standing by your time being a little wobbly. In strumming it seems to be better, but overall needs some work.

You wanted to see what you look like when you are sad? The result is actually quite good. Although, I'm sure we all wouldn't mind seeing what you look like deliriously happy.

I've been doing some introspection too. Hard work, isn't it?

Thanks for everything Jack, and also I agree about my timing. Improving but still could be better. I was actually thinking :
Wouldn't a metronome be a feature in a drum machine? A cheap ( if possible)
little drum machine? Surely it would have metronomic beats one could use.

I'm glad you're doing some of that
introspection, too. It definitely isn't so easy, if one is being honest with themselves.:)

Hehe, you *are* distracted Jack, you addressed that to me (E.L.) rather than Lisa :)

Hahaha, oops, sorry nab!!

Geez... that's what happens when you have several windows open at once. Why on earth did I call you E.L.? I'm losing my mind, time for a cup of tea and a gingerbread cookie.

(Andrew helped me bake them, he cut out the shapes. They are marvelous. We have skulls and bishops and dogs which as so cute... not overly Christmassy I know, but I think that's the best part! :) )

Sorry once again... I think I must be losing it...
