Sicker Today...

The past couple of days in particular, I feel really weak. I actually went back to bed
today, and slept for awhile. And I feel like sleeping again, right now! Ithink I have the flu.Maybe I'd gotten a cold and was battling it all along, it wasn't too bad. But whew!Yesterday
morning when I got up,I felt pretty bad. I need to watch out because I think that's how
I got pneumonia. Started out as one thing, a cold or something, lingered, got worse, and wham, pneumonia. Took me several months to get over it. It was that bad.
So I'm going back to bed right now. I hate sleeping in the middle of the day, just hate it! Makes me feel weird when I wake up later. Throws everything off.
But anyway, hope everyone's hanging in there. I'm down for the count until further notice. That's why I haven't been blogging today:( xoxoLisa

Yeah, sleeping in the day knocks everything off. I have every empathy with you on pneumonia. Try not to fear it. At least by sleeping your body is giving you what you need.

You will feel better soon! :-) I know it.

Take care, lots of tea!

I did read the French Horn post before, actually. :) I'm a bit of a nosey parker, I read everyone's blogs, I just don't always comment.

I think that's really cool that you hear shapes and colours in music. I've always thought it notation form. I learned to read music at the same time I learned to read english. I can remember using the lyrics in my little piano books to practice reading. I've never seen colours, or shapes... only notes. :(

Sleep, and also eat well. Feed a cold, right? Lots of iron and you'll have more energy to fight it. Oh, and citrus. Citrus is good.

I'm doing xmas baking tonight. Andrew hates xmas. He won't even spell it C-h-r-i... I'd better stop or I'll get in trouble. :D

Take care of yourself Lisa, can't have you poorly. That just won't do!

Thanks you guys, Rene, Gina, Jack, Steve H!

I slept a bunch yesterday, fell asleep early last night, too. Seems like extra sleep wouldn't do that much but I do feel a little better this morning!
Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear you're sick! I know what you mean, though, with the sleeping during the day. Makes me have a headache and feel bizarre when I wake up from a daytime nap!

Curl up in bed, and I'm sure one of the kitties will join you. I know ours get so excited if someone lays down on the bed during the day. "Yay! Someome to take one of my 17 naps today with!" LOL!

Hee, you know, I've noticed that before MaryBeth! My cats DO seem all happy, the rare times I have slept in the middle of the day. It's like a special occasion for them!LOL
Thankfully I'm feeling a little better today, all that sleep yesterday helped. Thanks for the well wishes MB!

Dear Lisa,

Hang in there and rest up. Sleeping in the daytime can be lovely, esp. if you have cats or a dog to sleep near you.

I had a horrid day yesterday but am rallying.

Love your Christmas photo, dear!

Hugs,
Brina

Hey sorry to hear you had a bad day!
You hang in there, yourself!
Thanks for the compliments on my seasonal photo. I suppose after the holidays are over I'll have to chang photos or else look like a lunatic.
Maybe I AM a lunatic, but not one of *those* kinds of lunatics. :) lol

Hey Lisa - I meant to ask - how do you get your picture onto the blog so it shows up with each comment? I know it said you have to 'host' your picture somewhere when I read the directions on the blog help, but it gave me this weird software that wouldn't host a picture! Where do you store yours? (what site?) Or...maybe it's a much easier process than all that?

Hey Mary Beth!
I think what I did was republish my blog, and that did it. Something like that.I remember it wasn't quite working at first, too. Maybe it takes a few minutes to switch over.
It may be something as simple as that. But I think republishing the whole blog has something to do with it. I'm talking about after you save setting and publish new profile pic. Go to your other setting place and republish the whole blog. I think that's what I did!
It was JussPress.com that I used.
Hope it helps! I'm not good at these things. :P

Thanks, Lisa. I'll try to use that website to host the picture. I wish they'd just let you upload an image - it would be so much easier! :)
