I really hope 2006 is a better year for everyone,and if it's worse for anyone, let it be worse for the people that deserve their come-uppance!The people that have been treating others like crap and never got what they deserve, the kind other people look at and feel despair about how they can get away with it.Ha! But back to the positive:

Happy New Year, every day, for 2006--not easy to master, but bottle it when you can.

I second that! It's always nice to have a new beginning at the start of a year - so much promise and hope. I hope this year I can finally find work, which was impossible in this city after I got laid off last year. We'll see, I guess!
I hope the evil ones get what's coming to them too! Sometimes it's fun to have a non-charitable attitude! :)

Hi there Lisa,
On your comment about Pete's diary entry: I got the exact same idea. He just wanted to say: lighten up, the planet is NOT lost, we CAN make it better, we DO have influence. Very simple really. He didn't really comment anything about whether or not people can and will destroy the planet. But people make their own associations, and some have more pessimistic views. Not me, I was born and still am a total optimist!
It's funny EL, I'm not even that optimistic normally, but his diary made me feel comforted. How could I have gotten that so wrong? Thanks for
validating that belief. :)
