Simpsons Live Action Intro...

This past Sunday the Simpsons did a live action intro. It was incredible! Allegedly
they aren't going to ever show that again on TV, yeah right. But just in case that's true, try to catch it here

Hey Lisa,

Oh, that's totally awesome!! *L*! I'm so glad you posted that, since I missed it last weekend. I'm sure they'll show it again eventually - they always say that to hype it up so people will watch, right?

Hey MB, you are the reason I posted it- loyal die-hard Simpson fans like me that may've missed it. :)
I figure that they'll show it again too, but ya never know, eh?

Hi Lisa,
I saw this a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I didn't realise they actually opened the show with it. I thought it was just a joke or a tribute.

Cheers,
AM

How did you do that?

I thought the clip was neat. The setting felt like a cross between the Truman Show and any English village.

Thanks for this. You're too funny!

I think they should make a "live action" Simpson's movie, don't you?

That is too cool! Thanks so much for posting this. Anjoli is gonna love it!

I am so sorry you are having swelling problems. It could be a blood clot - the same thing happened to my dad. (Not to scare you).
I hope and pray the docs figure out what's wrong and that you are well soon. It's such a drag having health probs...and getting the runaround. I feel for you, really.

Take good care,
Sue

Hi SuesJoy!
hey, I'm glad you mentioned the clot - it's what no one is saying but everyone is thinking, or at least I am thinking of it! But I think certain others are thinking it, too.
Thanks for understanding about the runaround, too. God help anyone that has something wrong that requires more than stitches or a cast. It's like you need to bring a lawyer with you when you go to the hospital, to plead your case!
It's like they don't want to believe anyone has anything wrong with them, at the hospital!
And this is with having insurance.
Without insurance it's even worse.
I figured that by mentioning this
like I have in various places, if/when I die from this, there will be people that knew I tried repeatedly to get help. I told the doc that this weekend. He laughed, and I said 'No, I'm serious." Though I was smiling, too.

Heheh...came back to elaborate.
When I broke the blood vessel this weekend, it hurt really bad and looked much worse. So I went to the
Urgent care clinic and I told the doctor:
" I know you aren't going to help me,
but I wanted the documentation for when I die, there will be records that I was here trying to get help. "

That was when he laughed. And I smiled but said "I'm actually serious."
But at least this guy took it seriously.
I think it's the way I look, you guys. maybe that's why I am getting this runaround. Maybe if I was older and heavier, they would automatically think "Clot.Heart.Clogged artery."
Not that I'm really thin or anything, but maybe they expect you be reeaally heavy for certain kinds of ailments. And older.
I just don't know. This is all speculation because I just don't understand.:(

Nab,

Oh dear, hope you're okay!

I recognize that power plant. That's near to Nottingham isn't it? I'm SURE I remember passing it in the car as a little kid when we would head up there to visit my aunt. I'm positive!

Anyways, I just stopped by to tell you've I've posted some Bill Evan's on the Jazzblog. I think his playing might be of some interest to you, as he developed an entire school of thought in the Jazz theory world where chords weren't spelled out, they were associated with a certain colour. It's a very free, interpretive way of playing Jazz, and also very melodic.

Soothing even, and I think we're all in need of soothing lately.

Now back to work. Just so you know, I am reading more frequently than I'm posting here. (And watching, and looking at the pictures...)

I've just be swamped with projects.

Lisa,
I do hope you get looked after properly. You are right about needing a lawyer to plead your case at a hospital. Maybe "medical advocacy" will become a new profession? Please take care of yourself!!!

That opener was really cool. And now to think that there's actually going to be a Simpsons movie next year. How cool is that?!

When I was very little, I thought cartoon characters were real people from another country. Maybe they are.

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for visiting my blog. I saw your post on Rachel's blog about her photo and appreciate you "having my back"! I have always seen you as a model for honesty in blogging, so I'm glad I was able to return the favor for once.

My blog has been funny lately -- when I go to respond it doesn't always take. So I'm replying here to make sure you see it.

Thanks again,
