Woohoo!
And it was carpet! That's what I don't get, lol.
I pushed it off my lap onto carpet, for christ sakes, and it sounded terrible! I shouldve kept the cam rolling, it wouldve showed me going over, mouth open in surprise, looking at my guitar with a wow! expression.
Turned out that apparently two screws were loose on this one part of the guitar. So this doohickie thing was loose anyway, and when I shoved it off of my lap, it knocked this already loose thing, making that disturbing sound! LOL
My guitar is just fine. But if you've read my previous posts, my green "Piececrappio" has been vexing me for awhile now. :)
Honest, Gina, it wasn't that hard, and it was carpet! lol
I've never done that before, btw.

LOLLOL uh, yeah.Sposed to be. Good ear, Karel!
The guitar is fine! LOL I'm getting the sense I alarmed people. Gary and Joeboy will understand. I've been griping out this guitar for awhile.
I should almost do an update video and say " Look everyone, the guitar is fine!"lol
Um, maybe I shouldn't have posted this cliplollol

Hahahaha, oh dear.

"Exit piececrappio stage left!"

Actually, it did make me cringe. I can't even stand it when Pete does it, to be honest. I worked for 8 years repairing guitars and drums (yeah I know since I was a babe, first job I ever had). Because of my past job it really drives me ape when Pete smashes a guitar, and oh boy, watching that guitar get flung knotted my stomach a bit!

Get a guitar with a truss-rod in it this time, so when the neck goes crazy you can adjust it somewhat. (Only a bit, nothing drastic.) Many affordable guitars have them these days. Oh yes, and a humidifier for the case is always good! (There are really cheap ones out there, essentially lumps of clay in little containers. They seem to work fine.

Yay Marietta! That was the intention!
It even made me laugh sooo hard when I went and viewed it right afterwards.
Wiped the frown right off my face!

And Jack, I hear ya. I was actually kinda surprised at the noise it made.
It was some loose screws, etc. No damage, I swear!

Yikes! I'm glad to hear the guitar survived! That was my first question. LOL

Hey, you're just practising for when you make it big and can smash a guitar in front of a screaming live audience for fun! LOL

Heh, it's funny, MB, I always winced when I saw guitars being smashed, and I would literally think ' A poor person would never do that" and kinda frown at the waste of it. I'm being honest.
And yet, look at my own actions on this clip! lol I'm a hypocrite! lol

Yeah, me too - I would think "what a waste"..."now they have to buy a new one"... I guess sometimes it just feels good to smash something. LOL! Can't say I've ever done it myself, though!!

You go girl. I have done the same thing way too many times. I have a Goldtop Les Paul with 2 chunks missing. I dropped it on its face at a show. It lived and the scars give it character. Usually when I toss one it doesn't survive.
