Hey, it sounds very good! Bargain is a song that suites you're voice, you know. You're like the female version of Roger. hahaha.
God I really fucking love your voice though. It's amazing. You are so lucky. My voice sucks, haha. But it really does. I need to post a song though.
Me and my drummer are getting an 8-track tomorrow! I'm SO excited. It's going to be too crazy! We'll record something and I'll post it for everyone. Of course I'm making this all up though since I don't know how to post audio stuff.

Hi Claire! Getting an 8-track, eh?
Awesome! I have a 4 track that I don't know how to use.:(
And AFA singing, don't worry about it.
Initially I only picked up guitar because I didn't have anyone to play
for me. So my voice came first. That's my original instrument.
Now when I play it's like I'm devoting half and half. Part to singing, part to guitar. I sing best when I can concentrate on just that alone.
But if you don't think you are a singer, concentrate 100% on guitar!
It actually makes it easier! You can devote your all to that! You could be like Stue and harmonize with the
person who is the main singer.
Get a singer, instead of worrying about it.:)

And Molly, I am going to really think about this news, it's very intriguing that you all are getting together in February! I very well might want to get in on this. Thanks! xoxoLisa

You know what it reminded me of? Syd Barrett! This medium is soooo interesting, I'd never have gotten to hear you except for this weird technology. The video thing is really cool. Post more stuff!

Wow, excellent!
Thanks, Ticharu, I'm diggin' this myself. I think I need ot move further back from the cam so that I can belt it out without thrashing my speakers.
Everytime my voice gets better it's because I'm projecting. And yet if I wail then it fries the sound.
Just thinking aloud. lol
Anyway, thanks! xoxoLisa

Getting together quite nicely indeed! I love singing the Who's Next/Lifehouse songs. I can carry a tune singing though can't play guitar at all.

Put up another cover of a Who song in my blog - an interesting bit of music history: an outtake of The Beatles playing A Quick One (While He's Away) in studio at some point in the 60's.

Hey Lisa, I love when you sing really low. I think "Bargain" is a great one for you. I love this! It's like sitting around your kitchen with you sharing songs-in-progress. Your version of "in the attic" maybe!

Hugs, Brina

P.S. What you wrote on Jessica's blog about not having kids? now THAT made me cry. Honest.

Lisa,

I like it- you have a strong, earthy voice. I could never be brave enough to record and post my singing work. Writing, yes, singing....not that brave yet.

Cheers,
AM

Lisa,
the tabs for Who songs can be found at:

http://www.thewho.net/whotabs/index.html

Bargain is on there, and as I mentioned, there is a special tuning and use of a capo for accoustic parts.

Easiest method to play this one is definitely standard tuning, capo on 1st fret, then start off with an A chord..
