I'll be back to check out your posts. Kind of in a hurry right now. Notifying people all over about the basement chat Sunday.

Standard message I have sent:
The 4 hour Basement Jam loop is up and running smoothly. Three cheers for Rachel Fuller, Pete Townshend and the team at eelpie!!

I don't know about you but I'm ready for a party! I will be hosting the "In the Basement" loop chat and be in Ballerina Gurl's chat - http://pub6.bravenet.com/chat/show.php/456044885 - around 5:15 pm eastern time Sunday December 11. I tried to base this time around the majority. Sorry if it does not fit your schedule? I have invited a special mystery guest co-host, who has excepted, and you never know who else may honor us with an appearance. The loop should start at 5:30 pm. eastern. You are cordially invited to stop by and join us. Thanks.

Peace, love and light.

That's fab!

Thanks for your compliment on my blog, sorry I haven't replied for so long. I am emotionally attached to the picture on my profile, it's during a careless weekend in Mykonos and I was just... careless!
Plus I like the colour of my hair, it's what I'm trying to achieve now, only with longer hair...

Are you joining us for the chat tomorrow?

Unable to listen from home here, but I need to chime in on something else: you are wanted, appreciated, needed, and adored for your feedback on TBWHM and in all ways.

I was sorry to have struck up such a debate. I found it embarrassing and felt personally embarrassed.

Back to you: come back! We love you!!!!

That was totally cool! I can imagine a Velvet Underground kind of production, that's what this one reminds me of the most. The Velvets with a California Dreaming sort of lilt. There's an odd mix, but that's what I hear. Very nice!

nabonidus,

This one is quite good. The only criticism I have of this one is that I hear too much of the moving inbetween the chords and the setting them up, and not enough of the actual guitar sound itself. I know you are choking one of the chords stylistically, but that isn't what I'm talking about. Try to get it so we hear more music, less guitar, if you get what I'm saying. :)

Other than that, really quite good. This one suited your singing style. I'm quite impressed.

I have not yet heard your song, just stopped in...I will load it.

I see you like Mr. Heston. He is a gift to us all. So sad he is not well these days.

You are quite the busy one on Pete's post. What will happen in the "after-Pete"???

I do wonder, myself! I, will always listen to the great music...always.

Thanks Jack! I like how you know your
stuff, you knew when I was singing too quietly, etc. I've had problems with this guitar being noisy since I got it. I think it's the strings being so
far up from the neck.Maybe it's the new strings themselves, too.
But overall, this comment from you was the best! Thanks,Chicklet!

And thanks for coming by, Dan L.
In your own unique way,I feel a sense support from you.KOR,
everybody!

Keep up the great work Lisa!! I love watching your progress! :o)

I have a bizarre question - is that a fish bowl behind you in your videos? I see it each time I watch one of your songs, and it looks like a fish bowl and a little tin of food! Just curious!!

Aw, I forgot he was there! it's my little beta, and the food thing is indeed beta food.So cute! I forgot about him, and I now realize something Gina had said awhile back must've been about the fishbowl!lol lol
He's one of those Japanese fighting fish, he's got to be a senior citizen of his world. He's almost 2, I think.I never named him anything
beyond "beta". Guess I'd didn't think he'd be around for so long. I do baby talk to him, though.
My little sweetie.:)
Thanks, for the kind words, MaryBeth. They mean a lot. xoxoLisa

Hey thanks Mikey! I actually have
multiple chord changes for that one but I was concentrating on catching a vocal styling that was coming to me at that moment.
Aw, I'm glad you got to hear it!Yeah!
because this one really shows signs of the improvements going on. And it's an original.
Heheh, I like the box of crackers in the background. xoxoLisa

You can really hear the influence Joni Mitchell has on you here, and that is indeed a compliment. Quite melodic.

Have you thought of getting a drum machine? I'd be interested in what your songs sound like with percussion.

A nice song Lisa.

Thanks, Gary!
And you pegged it, I really am thinking about a drum machine now.
Especially when I did a Zep cover in
a later post, the need was there.
And I can play, so that's not the issue.I'm going to give this serious thought. :)
