It's flawed,but hey......it's raw
baby!! I have a ghost story for
you dear Lisa.Check it out.I was
sitting on my couch watching something on TV when all of a sudden the doorbell rings.I peak
out the curtain that hangs in the
door window above,but I don't see
a soul.Back to the couch I continue
to watch TV,doorbell rings again.
This time I open the door to see
nobody there again,I went out around the side of the house to see
if someone was fucking with me.
Not in soul insight but now I'm
a little peeved and I am a little
on edge and creeped out.So I decide
to camp out next to the door to be ready to pull that bitch open immediately with baseball bat in tow.10 minutes go by,BAM!!! There's the doorbell again, within
1.5 seconds I whip it open only to
see not a soul, running around the driveway, around the house but no one.But there was no reason to run around the house checking things
because there was no way someone could hide that quick.Creepy huh?
Keep on jammin' I'm really digging
it.Piss some more ghosts off for us will ya Lisa? :O)

Thanks, EL!
And Mike, I hate these ghostly phenomena, I wouldn't have liked that experience with the doorbell at all!

Erm, I meant to say absolute perfection can be boring! But I suppose it can be beautiful too. Hehe.

nabonidus,

I'm sorry to hear about your fish. :( Losing a pet sucks.

I don't know why they took my picture on the train, it's not the first time it has happened, either. My diagnosis: people are strange. Been said before, hasn't it?

I'll have SOOO much catching up to do on your blog when I get my computer back. Right now I'm at school, but there aren't any speakers here and the headphone jack doesn't work. Booo. Ah, well, here's hoping he wasn't lying about Wednesday!

Okay, writing about Benny Goodman... back to it! *cracks whip*

nabonidus,

Oh yes, and re: Buddy Rich. He was a perfectionist and unfortunately his band had to put up with that. Reminds me of my dad if he's been working really hard... bad temper, but he knows his stuff so you can't really argue with him.

I wouldn't go so far as asshole, although many might. He sure did have his moments, though!

(And if you listen to how tight that band was... well, it might have been worth it! *wink*)

Good job! I should really be as devoted to my guitar as you are to yours. My poor guitar just looks at me as I pass it by day after day. My guitar must be very lonely. I am always amazed at your bravery to post yourself playing songs. Not everyone would have the guts to do that you know!

And Jack, yep, that blew my mind about Buddy Rich. Wow.:)

Lisa, is there any way you could record a voice only track of something original that Andy and I could use for a Frappe Dream Gate track.
You could send it to me in an e-mail as an MP3 file maybe.
I'm just looking for a way of getting your voice onto one of our recordings. I think it would be awesome.
Any ideas?

Frappe Dream Gate is what we decided to call the cyber-space communal blog project BTW

Hi Tich, that's what's holding me back, lack of recording ability. :(
That's why I haven't been following up!
It sucks!I'm trying to figure it out...

Lisa,
You have a very wide range in your music taste. I like that. I bet that Peavey really kicks butt when its cranked up loud.

Heheh, you are right, Joeboy. It does
sound killer loud.
And PTfan, thanks for saying that! You all are inspiring me to try and figure out a way to record my voice! Other than webcam! :/ Hmm...

That's killer. hold the neck up so I can see what you're playing. Sounds like you are doing some quick hammer-ons. Have always wanted to learn that one. Hootie did a great cover of it a while back.

Keep on rocking in the free world.
