I think this is rad and I don't care what you say lol My throat is dry, yes there are things that could be critisized about it. But I think it's good anyway. My big problem is that I am a technophobe and I need to learn how to properly record myself. Or get someone to take me seriously and record me for God's sakes. If I sound cranky, I am. lol...this is 2 minutes long.

Hi Lisa,
I think what I have found in listening to your recordings is that your voice has been gaining strength and confidence over the last few weeks. The rest is just practice, as far as the fingers and rythm go.

You have that sultry touch to your vocals that many singers wish they had. Keep posting. It only gets better.

Listening to you I get the music.
Gazing at you I get the heat.
Following you I climb the mountain.
I get excitement at your feet!

Great sound from you, as ever, soulful as JoeBoy says, and I really like the eye art, too.

Hey Lisa!

That one sounds great! I love it!!

Thanks for you comment on my blog. Hey, Sephora is a great idea - I have some Bliss stuff in my favorites list on there - maybe I'll put in an order too as a treat! Hey, don't feel bad about the Bulgari - which scent did you get? I have the Green Tea, and the Rose Essential, which I both love. The Jasmin is also awesome. I also use Lamcome mascara too! I guess we have a lot in common on the make up/fragrance area!! :)

Oh, hey, and I also meant to say that don't let Valentine's or the bad memories get you down. People put so much stock in that day and it makes people still looking for that special one feel badly about themselves. I'm married, though, and we don't even do anything for Valentine's - we figure, hey, people should show their love every day, not just once a year, right? It's so overrated - card companies and chocolate companies just hyping it to make money. Count me out! Just another good day to go Sephora shopping... *L*

Goodmorning Miss Cranky Pants. I'm kind of cranky too today. Ok, like when has anyone every criticized you here? Why would we start now? You are so silly. And GOOD! I love your voice. I agree with JoeBoy that it has that sultry feel to it. Good work and again, mighty brave of you to post what you do. It is very vulnerable of you to do.
Have a nice un cranky day today and I will try to do the same.
: )
oh, why did you change your picture? I like this one too though.

Nabonidus,

"My throat is dry, yes there are things that could be critisized about it."

There had better be things that could be criticized about it! If there isn't anything you want to do better, that's a bad sign. Means you are in serious danger of not improving.

Creating art is not a case of perfecting your work, it's a case of knowing when to stop.

Jack
(Has been a wee bit cranky lately too. :p)

Hey, Nabonidus, don't be technophobic! The only machines you have to fear are the Bloodsoaked Genocidal Killbots from Alpha Centauri, and they won't destroy the Planet Earth for another three months! So don't sweat it, 'kay?

I like it !.... Lisa, You wrote about Ball Lightning this week. I have witnessed ball lightning twice in my life. Once on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River on the East side of the river in Illinois in a Town called Waterloo. The other time I was on the West side of the River In my Hometown of Oakville(a suburb south of St.Louis),At Bee Tree County park. There is a Bluff there That overlooks the River as well,It is almost adjascent to the Bluff at Waterloo. There occurences were very close together chronologically speaking. Ley Lines indeed...Danny

Hi Lisa,
Ah the shoe debacle! I'm 5'9 and usually wear an 11 or 10.5W -just unfair! I have discovered Earth shoes though, not the clunky chunky ones from the 70's but very refined since a Parisian bought them out. They have all these cute styles that rock-even boots. Dansko too make comforatble shoes that are hot. Uggs just make me feel like my feet should be launched like an ocean liner fleet but i do own them...

Hey SuperAmanda, thanks for the shoe tip! I'm going to check those companies out, I remember Earth shoes, too. I have a pair of sandals that I'm
wearing to death, they are birkenstock-like, I must admit. But I'm going for comfort these days. :)
