The Attic Cheered Me Up:)

I was inspired. Thanks Pete, Rachel, and Andrew! ;)
My "Why Do People Lie?" song hadn't been played on the new guitar. This clip rattled me, actually.
This time the camera's movement seemed really distinct to me. You'll see if you sit through about 30 seconds or so ( it's only about 50 seconds:). This just happened, btw. Live, 5 minutes ago:

I went ahead and used the clip with Ghosty to play my little solo over it.
("They lie because they're afraid" ) It's so different playing the old stuff on the new guitar, easier. Sounds better. It's a real guitar. :) . Remember, I just did this now, still a little rattled.:

While the instrument does not make the music good, a good instrument in the hands of a person who can use it (like you) DOES make a difference. The guitar sure has a beautiful sound.

As for ghosty...maybe it's actually a music enthusiast, and this stuff what happens for the videos is its way of showing appreciation?

Hey thanks for your guitar comments Maria. :)
Ghosty - I've wondered about this myself. Seems to be showing unhappiness when I play something many times in a row, too.Hmm...

As ever, I cannot view the clip. I'm frowning and then it's because I have a toothache. Yeah!

I am so glad you felt inspired!!!! And especially by ITA! yeah. yip! ouch.

sorry for my tooth. I'm with Maria. The ghost is probably enthusiastic toward your playing!

Shine on!

Very cool! I don't have the equipment for such hi-tech posts, so I have to stick to written words. But it is very cool to be able to see you working stuff out on video. Is Ghosty that weird flash of light in the middle? Maybe there's a spirit longing to play the tambourine or something!

Hope all's well by you.

Hey thanks Gina, and Chris! Nice to see you both. :)
And Chris, that light is worse than you think. When frozen, it reveals a split screen effect. As if it moved itself. Which is what it looked like out of the corner of my eye. :(

Lovely, glad to see you're still posting video! I came to see what you were up to and find a bunch of video to watch. Love it!

Hi Lisa,
I think it sounds great. I agree with what Maria says, it doesn't matter what kind of guitar you have, it's how you play it that makes it sound great.

Hi Lisa,
I see Ghosty is up to its old tricks- I love how you just keep playing. I'd be too freaked out. Maybe he/she just needs a place in your band. Like lighting director? ;)

Hey Lisa,
Isn't Nora just proof that everyone gets better musically with continued practice?
