Lisa, I love the way you keep buoncing back. I can't watch your vid at the moment because we have a go slow on our network and it's hopeless, but I will as soon as things are sorted out.
As for my email, it is valmann24@hotmail.com. That's the one I don't mind publicising. If you email me, I'll answer you from my private email address!
It's Rob here, from over at Pete's blog. You're last "Icky Thump" comment there got me wondering so here I am. I'm still not sure what that tune is or why you like it, but I watched you play it. By the way, nice Les Paul. Is it a Standard? I've got an incredible one. I got it back in '91 (it was my 21st Birthday gift to myself). I also noticed you play right-handed though you're a lefty. I'm the same way. It justed seemed more natural. Anyway just thought I'd say hi...See you over on Pete's blog! Keep practicing, Rockin', and personally I liked your picture with the bangs
Hehehe, it's brand new White Stripes. They've been playing it constantly on the radio. Everywhere I go I keep hearing it, the store, sitting in traffic, etc - so you can see where I would get ideas. :) Plus when you mentioned being a lefty, well... My guitar is a Epiphone, but it's still the best guitar I've had in my life(so far). I'm happy to have it.:) It was a gift so at least I don't owe on it, which helps.:P Thanks for coming by!:)
White Stripes Huh? I've heard of them but never heard them. I don't listen to the radio at all except Phil Hendrie (yes, the genius is back), Howard Stern, and sports talk. Though when Sirius had The Who channel for about 6 months I was in absolute heaven!
Anyway it's an Epiphone is it? I've never tried an Epiphone Les Paul but if it's half as good as the real thing it ain't too bad. How long have you been playing? Don't take this as an insult, but you sound pretty new to the guitar. Sorry, that does sound insulting now that I read it back. I also noticed you playing another guitar...It looked kind of Stratty. What was it?
Hehe, no offense taken, Rob. Part of the problem is that two of the fingers on my left hand were cut off. My ring finger, which was sewn back on and is now an inch shorter than it should be, and my pinky -which "only" the tip cut off. And is still shorter than it should be by about ahalf inch.. Has always given me the worst time with bar chords, etc.:(
I'm actually a singer. That was always my big talent. The guitar was originally picked up to accompany myself singing. You can't tell from this song, because I'm mimicking Jack White's screechy voice. lol
Wow! Sorry about the fingers. I'm sure you're familiar with Tony Iommi and Django Reinhardt aren't you? If not let me know. They could both serve as an inspiration to you. Actually, they could inspire us all, but maybe you even more. As for you being a singer... How ironic... You'll love my last post I just left on Pete's blog. Keep in mind it was just a joke. Sort of! I swear I shouldn't have brought up the whole 12 notes in an octave thing over there. People are just too stupid or brainwashed to get it. I know you get it though, you play guitar.
THANK YOU GRACE! lol xo Finally! Someone that knows what I spoof there! And that I really am not that bad. ;)
Oh, I know I need improvement, but I'm improving with practice all the time. Fast! Plus my musical repertoire isn't represented here, at all. These are mostly improv things, for one.
Don't worry though Rob, I know you were joking(sort of)!:)
Thanks Lucy! I admit I agree with you ;) as bad as that sounds. I really have seen a lot of improvement over the past 2 years or so of putting these clips up. And back at you with the well wishes. xoxo Lisa :)

You belong in the Garage at Allen's!
We are really "wanting", though he is better, Allen is, with the guitar.
You lost email? You lost all?
Easy to find us...
Be well,
