My Eyes! Oh my eyes! Slightly better pics of my eye painting. Painted it about 5 years ago. If I ever have an album I want to use this painting as a cover.

You need to change your name to Picasso. :)

I like it. It harkens back to the days of good LP cover art.

Very cool painting :)

I was reading the comments over on Pete's blog. I'm sorry that some bitter person is harassing you. Some spineless people get very brave when they think they are anonymous. If it continues or becomes threatening you should consider reporting it.

Anyway don't let this person scare you.

Take Care,

Hey, I've noticed that painting in the back ground of your web casts. I was meaning to comment on it when I commented on your songs, but I forget things so fast! LOL! I am very easily distracted these days!

It is very cool. And you WILL have a CD out and that would be a great cover. Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. You are right and you are very encouraging. Thanks for becoming my friend.

Love to you.

Lisa,

I just wanted to say to you that I always enjoyed reading your comments on TBWHM. You were one of the main commentors and you were always there with excellent thoughts and ideas that made one think. Between you and Maria, I always learned something.

I am sad now too. Today is not the same as it was the past 23 weeks. I miss it.

Your eye painting, now that I think of it, reminds me of the Led Zeppelin 3 cover. Just the style. That was always my favorite Zeppelin cover.

Take care and I hope to see you around blogland.

Zoe

P.S. Thanks for your birthday wishes. That was so nice of you to do.

fantastic that Pete closed the blog two weeks ahead of schedule.
I wonder why?
I don't think it had anything to do with the blog turning nasty, like you being very unfriendly to people who did not deserve it.

Hi EL!
I actually had to disallow Anon comments for the very first time, in
almost a year of having this blog. I've never looked down on anon people, I'd had some very nice anonymous comments from shyer people a long time ago.
But they'd changed it for all.
Here's the thing:
The anon person is giving me waaay too much power. It speaks for itself that Pete allowed me to say what I've wanted, freely, for the entire time of his blog's existence. The day that certain people show up,
he closes the blog down.
Seems to me the evidence is there: You all made Pete close down the blog. Guess you didn't remember all the comments that YOU guys made, but Pete did! Even if you threw them away at his blog, to hide evidence,
so that you can now try to play victim. He saw them. He saw what we didn't.
IF Pete closed his blog because of me, then damn, I have a lot of power over the man. AND I know he regularly reads my blog.Or has... Or didn't you know that? So if we are following your line of thinking,
that I was responsible, that I have power over Pete's decisions, and we know he reads my blog fairly regularly, then why would you want Pete to see that you are harassing me? Why would you want Pete to see that you aren't nice yourself? AND a chickenshit?
Seems to me you'd want to put on your best face and be seen here for better reasons.
You are giving me too much responsibility and blame in this, and none for yourselves.
Seriously, ask yourself "Why would Pete close the blog the very first day we all speak up and try to get into the Method?
I've been there all along spewing forth freely, rudely, kindly, sadly,
and he never shut us down before. Following your line of logic YOU are respionsible.
We could be harassing and targeting
YOU for it! If we were low like that. Which we aren't.
Try to get over this, it's hard for all of us.

Blogger jeremiah1919 said...

Well, this anon. person is obviously a close personal friend of Mr. Townshend's.
What amazing integrity! Deigning to post here must've taken such courage, I tremble in your presence, "anon": you must be an avatar of Vishnu! I touch your feet in obeisance! Namaste!

Probably, given the blog is still up, TBWHM realized, because he will post all of the messages on in main web site, he had a load of comments, indeed said well, and he didn't/we didn't need any more. And he's really busy.

I'm looking forward to the chronology. Otherwise, it's nice to be back somewhat in the world of work...with evenings, come spring which is on the way here, to walk Bea Bea without stumbling over a manhole (what with it being so dark).

I think fighting, coming on to someone's blog anonymously to be, well, nasty is silly of anybody. Themz fight'n werds, maybe. Actually, they're in black and white and in black and white "words" celebrate the ring of free speech. We have the freedom to "speak" electronically, and I hope the freedom of mind to really see what is it that we want to say.

Um, "fantastic"? "schedule"? "nasty"?

I used to live yander and I took a course or two in linguistics. I promise, is all, but to experience the full effect say the message aloud with a British accent of some kind and then try a Texas drawl. Who or which is more natural sounding?

10:48 AM
Blogger Nabonidus said...

LOLOL I did just that,
1st English accent, then twang-surely
you are right, Gina! Or it's the um, Danish people or whatever those folks were,
that took such offense to me in the 1st place - let's not forget to
pronounce schedule as "shedjool" lol

I hope the nastiness, ceases, I am sure no one really means any harm. Just a lot of sensitivity chips missing.

Ah! You guys reminded me of the prettiest dress recently, when I was at the club these women came in, one of them was wearing the prettiest dress, it was slinky, royal blue, speghetti straps. It was gorgeous!
I couldn't take my eyes off the color!
Finally I said the hell with it, walked over there, and said " I love that dress! So pretty!"
And she said get this:
I just came from a wedding, this is what we bridesmaids were wearing."
!!!!!!
I said " OMG!Are you kidding me?LOL"
That is the only time, in my entire life, that I have EVER seen a pretty
bridesmaid dress. EVER. EVER.EVER! LOL :)
And worked for a time in the formal wear biz! LOL

OK, I was going to post my bridesmaid dresses, all 7 of them. But I thought, No, I'll just post the dresses I had my bridesmaids's wear! I was a sainted bride. I told them to wear black velvet, anything they wanted. I thought they all looked gorgeous!
What a funny coincidence that you saw a beautiful bridesmaid's dress.
I am sure a certain classically trained, girlfriend of our favorite Rock God, and composer extraordinaire, who is at the top of the IAC charts, would have us all looking our blogger best, maybe some slinky, funky, sexy frocks from her new store?

Lisa,
Please allow me to use this space to leave a message to Maria.

Maria,
I cannot get to your blog, I mean I can, but I keep getting the "spinning mouse", and I can't get beyond the first few sentences of your posts.
I just wanted you to know, that I am trying to say hello, and remain connected. So, Hello, and I hope I can somehow, get on your blog again!
I am STILL reading "On The Road", pathetic, I know, but between, real life, and this blog, I've no real time to read. I usually read a book within 5 days, with distractions. I guess I am a bit unsettled by the characters. Even when he is staying in a luxurious apartment in Denver, I still feel it is dismal. Did you have this same feeling? I don't trust any of his "gang".
Be well.
