Simpsons Live Action Intro...

This past Sunday the Simpsons did a live action intro. It was incredible! Allegedly
they aren't going to ever show that again on TV, yeah right. But just in case that's true, try to catch it here

I can't seem to help myslef, they are just so cute. Whenever my ex and I tried to get decent pics of the cats, there would always be a glitch or some snafu. They are being so still and trusting with me. Animals don't normally lay in that position, it shows they feel trust and are at ease. So if your animals at home lay on their backs, it means they feel comfortable and happy enough to do that.
Anyway, these pics are even worse because they are basically the same pics. :) lol.

My "New" Blog...

Heheh, I have a "new" blog, *LTV-A Musical Diary* www.wtsgd.blogspot.com -it's about time I fully utilized my other blog. I really should have done this a long time ago. The idea is that I'm compartmentalizing a little. All the clips will go there. This blog will continue to be what it was originally, spewings. Plural intended. :)

*Warning for those afraid of ghosts*1.Mounting evidence of "Ghosty" this is the original video where the tray of beads and my digital camera slid and fell off the table. It broke the camera. The batteries flew out of the camera and were across the room.Listen for the sliding off of the table.
2. The photo of myself that is supposed to look like my current profile pic. My current profile pic is literally the very next picture in the series. This one is #13, my profile pic was #14. Very different.
3. I was seeing odd, dancing shadows one day, behind me, when I was trying to make a video. I stopped and concentrated on trying to capture it since the camera was picking it up. I couldn't see it with my naked eye. I captured "Ghosty" at 1:10.The scary thing is that I was joking around, saying things like "Come out come out wherever you are" And it did!
4. Horrible video. You weren't going to ever see this,it's terrible- except it's yet one more clip where "ghosty" makes an appearance. Listen for noise at 1:28.Just move the cursor and skip my singing.
I have more but these are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. I seem to recall there are other flashes of light videos around...

A very special episode of Lisa TV, series finale part 1 Truth is I'd already planned on posting this, it's probably my fave Pearl Jam song. All these covers I've played have been things I already knew, I came into this knowing many songs. Maybe I didn't play the best, but I played with heart and the fact that I know so many covers and can sing them, I personally think that's pretty good. Plus the originals. I stopped doing originals for clear reasons.Anyway.

WOW! What a difference a day's practice makes! A cleaned up, much more organized version of that lead in the previous post.. I like it! And I think "Ghosty" likes it too, because "they" hadn't made an appearance since I "called them out" that one day. Until now, at 1:02 seconds into it, I felt a flash of light on my face while playing. To my credit, heheh, I kept going. It's one and a half minutes long. Warning for those that
might want one. Ghosty at 1:02. :)

I temporarily posted this photo as my profile pic, it's the flash of light phenomena I've been talking about for awhile. It's never done it in regular picture form before. This just happened. Yesterday I posted a video clip of the light flash in
video action, but I took it down because I felt like I was making a big deal out of what looks like nothing. Sucks because I am a much more skeptical person than anyone knows. I don't really believe in astrology, I don't believe in God, etc.
But look at how this looks like it isnt even my face, there's a nose outlined that doesn't look like mine, etc.Weird hairline, what is up with that? I don't even know how to crop pictures yet, let alone make photos look like this!
Btw, the other photos in the series look nothing like this. It's clear it was lighter in the pics, but damn, not that bright!

One of my eyes is lighter than the other, just slightly. There's an odd story behind it-so I was trying to take a photo of it to accompsny the little story. So
that's how this happened today /tonight.
***Update*** I am reposting the video, right here Now, don't even bother watching the video,
if you want to watch it, turn the volume up so that you can hear me talking, saying things like " God I hope it's picking this up on camera" becasue basically I'm sitting in quasi-darkness, it was actually daytime but came out so oddly dark! Saying things like "Comeout comeout wherever you are," joking around.But then right after at 1:10 seconds the flash of light. Where it lights everything up with white light for a split second. So move the little arrow thingie to 1:10, skipping almost all video.
It's only 1:13 long anyway. If anyone knows how to freeze that frame and then make it a jpg, and send me the jpg, I'd appreciate it. Another time it did it so bright that
it lit my face like that one pic. The brightest flash of white light. It's like "its"
trying to communicate thru my cam. I don't believe in this stuff! Dammit!

group of about 5 or 10 pics, that the odd one came from...

The Desiderata Revealed...

Once again, I want to apologize for being a selfish blogger and not visiting anyone lately. I'm so sorry you guys/gals!!But I also wanted to tell you that it makes me happy to see people, you, my blogger friends, struck by the Desiderata the way I was when I'd first heard the words. I'd said the same things, "How true these words are! How beautiful and wise!"
I first was told these words by Mike, my old friend and musical/philosophical mentor that died last year. He knew them by heart, and was able to recite it word for word, and it was very profound experience for me when he'd done that. He later brought me a little plaque that had the words inscribed on it. He'd told me that the written words had been found in the basement of a cathedral in St Paul in 1692, that no one knew who they'd originally come from. And yet I later saw them attributed to a Max Hermann? 1957? I'm going to check this out further... Ok:
It's still believed to have been found in a church 1692 by many people-
But it really was written by a guy named Max Herman,published it 1927. Guess he was a
poet, writer, along the lines of Kahlil Gibran ( Hi Rusty Pearl, I have read some K.G. :). By the way, Desiderata is Latin for "Things to be Desired.

A cute little Desiderata story that warms my heart concerns some Deadhead neighbors we'd had for awhile. About 10 yrs ago. Kevin and Karen, a young married couple, very sweet, very into the Grateful Dead. We'd gotten to talking, and they came over one day to see our puffer fish that we had. A huge puffer that we were proud of.
So they are there, in the living room, we are talking, and I notice Kevin is looking, squinting at something on the wall, he's looking at my plaque of the Desiderata. He's reading it.
Next minute, Kevin is freaking out, saying " Wow, did you write this? It's amazing!
Can you make a copy for me? This is like my personal philosphy right there in a nutshell!"
So we wound up going online and finding an attractive copy of it and printing it up
with some good paper, color, etc.
It was neat because later on down the road I got to see that they'd framed the
copy we'd made and had it on the wall of their living room, in a can't miss it place.. Warms my heart remembering what good people they were. :)
Anyone that loves the words of the Desiderata and tries to live by them is surely a good person! I know I have seen this in person with you all here!
